About Brick House Flower Farm
There's a lot of magic in this world. Everyday the sun rises, it sets. It's never the same as the day before. The seasons change, and that stays the same. There are fascinating little packages called seeds that do something remarkable and beautiful when they are combined with water and soil. We like being a part of that fun process. At Brick House Flower Farm, we think life is a good time to appreciate the marvel of natural things. We grow flowers on a very small scale, breaking ground in the spring of 2021. That first summer, 80 varieties of flowers were grown on about 4800 square feet in a high density format. That makes for more blooms than you can imagine. My name is Maria Serafini, and I am responsible for the creation, planning, planting, nurturing, harvesting, flower arranging and drying, businessing, marketing and all things Brick House Flower Farm. My fella, Ed helps with a good amount of the hard labor. For that I am so grateful! The goal of Brick House Flower Farm is to share beauty, have a little fun, and leave a small footprint in the process. The cultivation of flowers from seed to dried has sparked a real passion in me. As a licensed massage therapist for more than 20 years, I had a passion for creating an environment for another person to experience a pause from the loop of thoughts in their mind, and to get into their body. I really wanted everyone to quiet down and loosen up! Growing flowers satisfies a similar need. The smell, the look, and the feel of a flower gives a necessary pause. A moment of awe, a thrill even. I think it's even more rewarding than bodywork, as it adds in a layer of appreciation for the natural world. Thanks for visiting our site! It is our pleasure to provide fresh and dried flowers for your events, floral design business, weekly bouquet subscriptions, daily pick-me-up, love your neighbor and spreading smile quotas.
